The Smile I Always Wanted
“I would recommend this company to anyone looking getting into braces. My experience has been top tier here. Always welcoming and I’m happy I chose ovation. As an adult getting braces at 26 was scary but my time here flew by and now I have them off and with the smile I always wanted!”

Trusted Orthodontists in Waconia
Dr. Adam Hoxie
A Wake Forest graduate fluent in Spanish, Dr. Adam earned both his DDS and MS in Orthodontics at the University of North Carolina. His published work on near-infrared imaging and micro-CT guides the tech-forward, minimally invasive plans he designs for Ovation Orthodontics patients in Waconia.
Board‑certified by the American Board of Orthodontists, he also volunteers with the Children’s Hospital Cleft Palate Team and mentors young researchers to build healthier smiles and a stronger profession at the same time.
Dr. Mike Hoxie
Dr. Mike completed his DDS and MS in Orthodontics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, then earned board certification before moving back to Minnesota. An adjunct professor at both UNMC and the University of Minnesota, he leads a Spear Study Club and serves on the Minneapolis Children’s Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic.
When he isn’t helping Waconia families, this Nebraska Cornhusker can be found skiing, wake surfing, or perfecting barbecue with his wife , Karmen, and their sons, Adam and Ben.
Dr. Mike Lee
Dr. Lee holds a business degree and a DDS with High Distinction from the University of Minnesota, where he also earned his MS in Orthodontics.
He integrates digital scanning, 3D printing, and other innovations to craft long‑lasting smiles, while sharpening his skills through Spear and Seattle Study Clubs and the Children’s Hospital Cleft Palate Team. Between visits, he explores new coffee spots, snowboards local hills, and brings that same energy to every Waconia appointment.
Dr. Tiffany Waki
After graduating from Hamline University, Dr. Waki completed her DDS and orthodontic residency at the University of Minnesota. With two decades of experience, she blends digital precision with an artist’s eye to deliver comfortable, efficient care for Waconia families.
A breast‑cancer survivor and devoted community member, she balances clinical excellence with genuine empathy, and might swap gardening tips or wake‑surfing stories while perfecting your smile.
Waconia Braces
Braces in Waconia remain the gold standard for tackling complex bite or alignment challenges. Metal brackets and archwires apply steady, precise pressure, often closing gaps and leveling crowded teeth more quickly than other methods, sometimes reducing treatment time.
Regular adjustment visits with our doctors keep your progress on track from start to finish.
Waconia Invisalign
Prefer a nearly invisible path to a straight smile? Invisalign clear aligners in Waconia offer a discreet, removable alternative to braces. Each custom BPA‑free tray fits comfortably over your teeth and moves them a little at a time; switch to the next set every one to two weeks as directed.
Wear your aligners 20–22 hours a day, removing them only for meals, brushing, and special occasions, to stay on schedule. Invisalign corrects many common crowding and spacing issues; however, some complex cases still respond best to traditional braces.
