Your Chaska, Eden Prairie, Waconia, & Minnetonka Orthodontist
Meet Dr. Waki
Being an orthodontist is rewarding because it allows me to transform my patients’ lives by improving their smiles, self-confidence, and overall health. As orthodontists, we help correct dental issues that can cause discomfort or lead to long-term problems, offering both functional and esthetic benefits.
I love that my profession combines science and artistry, requiring precision and problem-solving skills to tailor treatment plans to each patient’s unique needs. It is also rewarding to develop long-term relationships with patients and families, seeing their progress over time, which adds a fulfilling personal aspect to my work.
Education & Experience
Dr. Waki grew up in Minnesota and attended Hamline University for undergraduate studies with an emphasis in Biology and Chemistry. She earned her dental doctorate and orthodontic residency at the University of Minnesota.
Continuing education is a core value of Ovation Orthodontics and Dr. Waki. She regularly attends local and national interdisciplinary study clubs and seminars.
Outside of the Office
Besides my passion for orthodontics, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes my husband, Chad, and our daughters, Chloe and Stella. I enjoy living in the southwest metro, where I reside near my workplace. This allows me to see my patients when out in the community.
I love nature and being outdoors. You can often find me taking long walks or tending to my container garden. My family and I enjoy spending time at the cabin, enjoying wake surfing and fishing.
