Treatment for Younger Kids

We encourage parents to schedule their child’s initial exam at age 7. In some cases our doctors will recommend early, interceptive treatment. With early treatment Ovation Orthodontics can take the least invasive approach to address skeletal deficiencies or issues your child may have. Addressing these things early helps us avoid more invasive approaches in the future. In other cases, we will recommend putting off treatment. That’s why we’ve created our Growth & Guidance program. If your child is in this program, that means they aren’t yet ready for treatment but we’re monitoring their needs as they grow. These very important growth and development appointments will be scheduled every 6 to 12 months and are done free of charge.

Options for Adolescents

Between the ages of 11 and 15 is the most common time for orthodontic treatment, and for good reasons. By 12, most, if not all, of the permanent teeth are in place, and crooked teeth, gaps and bad bites are highly visible. We can often take advantage of the remaining growth to make the necessary orthodontic corrections to create an exceptional smile for your child. Since many of their friends are in braces at the same time, most adolescents LOVE sharing the braces experience. After school visits at all five Ovation Orthodontics’ locations can be lots of fun when kids see their friends from school, church or sports teams!

Options for Teens & Adults

Treatment That Fits Your Life, School And Work
Ovation-adult-orthodontics Whether you choose metal or clear braces, clear aligners or hidden braces - at Ovation Orthodontics you’ll have the benefit of Customized Smile Design. Like fingerprints, your smile is unique - so we combine digital orthodontic treatment planning with specially made brackets, wires or aligners that are tailored to your specific dental anatomy. One of those options is called Insignia. With Insignia we take a scan of your teeth. Sophisticated imaging software then translates that into a 3-D representation of your bite. Using our doctors' diagnosis and treatment plan, your braces and wires are custom-fabricated. This gives us incredibly detailed information and helps us provide fast, accurate and predictable results.

Invisalign®

Straight Teeth Without Braces The Invisalign® System straightens your teeth without wires and brackets, using a series of clear, customized, removable aligners. It's virtually undetectable, which means hardly anyone will know that you’re straightening your teeth. Invisalign combines advanced 3-D computer graphics technology backed by over 100 years of orthodontic science. Invisalign aligners are designed to move your teeth in small steps to the desired final position. Every one of your aligners is precisely calibrated and manufactured to fit your mouth at each stage of the treatment plan. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks and only taken out to eat, brush and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next, your teeth will begin to move gradually — week-by-week until the final alignment prescribed is attained. Then you’ll be smiling like you never have before! Plus, Ovation Orthodontics is an Elite Provider of Invisalign and that means we can give you all the information you need before starting treatment and a great result when you’re done. At your complimentary consultation you can find out if Invisalign is a good option for you. It’s one of a number of virtually invisible options we offer.

Braces that are Hidden

Behind Your Teeth Hidden, or Lingual, braces are similar to traditional braces except that they are customized to attach to the inside of your teeth and are hidden from view. They are a great option to straighten your teeth without the look of traditional braces. Lingual braces are discreet and provide a perfect alternative to conventional braces for esthetically minded individuals. Lingual braces are "fixed" to the teeth so they stay in until treatment is complete. The results are beautiful and the ease of wear is too, because they are designed to fit your teeth and mouth perfectly.
